Any Lightning Protector Solutions for Monsoon season?

Hello...I'm new to this forum and currently searching for solutions that can protect my DSL devices from lightning strikes especially in Monsoon season. I have used a lightning protector box but sometimes it seems of no uses. Any suggestions?

Anyone used switch or DSL devices with built-in surge protection function such as D-Link DES-3200 ftp://support.dlink.co.in/pdfs/products/DES-3200-26/DES-3200-26_ds.pdf Does it really help? Any comments or suggestions?
