When will airtel introduce sms service on landlines

I have seen all touchtel phones have a message led icon.In UK providers provide sending and receiving sms.

SO when will airtel introduce it?.Airtel was the first isp i think which introduced unlimited calling(well not truly unlimited like in USA) but with rs 2000 bill cap and you will only be charged rs 300.I hope airtel introduces sms via landline.

Those LED panels are for caller I'd services. Now a day's when sms is bat to extinct and apps are taking place , I don' think Aircel would have been planning any such things.
