I am not able to access any websites since evening. I am using 256kbps unlimited.
All I can access is
192.168.1.1 and
http://202.159.217.199:8080/mtnlPortal123/dsl/tester.jsp
The MTNL bandwidth meter tells me my speed is 260 Kbps
Other wise this is what I get
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at en-gb.start.mozilla.com.
* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
However torrents seem to be working.
What do I do?
By the way I am in South Delhi.
Anyone else having same problem?

Can you ping the sites, like go to dos and type ping yahoo.com and check if you get reply. If you can connect torrents then I think it seems to be DNS problem.

I was using the default setting wherein I had checked "obatin IP address automatically" etc. I checked out a guide and changed the IP adn DNS settings and it started working. Dont know what the problem was?
