I have no knowledge of jargons used by service providers 'unlimited' MBps, Gb etc. My need is: wife is a beautician who will need to constantly use You tube, son in Class X who will need to download his project studies, have 2 laptops, one desktop(all on windows, different versions) Zune, PS3, Wii, movie dl, TV etc no idea which service provider/plan suits me... am sure a lot of you would have discussed this many a times, tried to run a search, more confusion, so tks in advance...

You need to put a figure to your usage. Have a look at bsnl, act and bbnl.

I did have a look at bsnl(what is bbnl?) was keen on act, but after seeing all those negative posts, i will go with this forum's advice. no idea how to sum up my usage. like I said its mostly you tube views on an average of 90mts a day max. if there is a cheaper night rate, I may go for movie downloads depending on remaining bandwidth. based on above example of usage can u suggest a plan that suits me, incase its not sufficient, i can always scale. thank you

thanks, my budget is around 1000 pm and I think 1 or 2 mbps shd suffice.....
