Loaded with ICS, the phone is outfitted with a 3.5-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing "chat cam" and comes in shades of black, gold, pink and silver. Integrated Facebook features and customizable illuminations are also promised, but the lid hasn't been lifted on more detailed specs.

Specs not out yet.. hope its a dual core. Its a looker though!
 
Sony trying to be what Samsung is doing since last 2 years. Flooding the market under same series branding. Total 3 new devices announced today. Difference is that Sony has better designs and some of them are really unique and phones have marginally different set of spec and so the price.
 
I was particularly talking about two other phones announced today, Xperia tipo n tipo dual. They are quite different from current Xperia lineup. And GSMArena has specs of miro. Don't know if they are official but if they, even miro is making its space in xperia series.
 

Both the Miro & Tipos have a 800Mhz single core processor and a 512MB RAM. Got this from the whitepaper on the Sony product blog.Disappointed with Miro. Tipo with a 3.2 meg cam is anyway an entry droid on the same level as the HTC Explorer or Galaxy Ace.
 
my friend bought xperia u,amazing phone in its price range but sound is very very low.hope Sony looks into this matter.

From what I see these are having lower specs than Xperia U, which is already selling at around 16k. So, is this going to be 10-12K range? Seems a solid move, if so.
Samsung Ace & Galaxy Y would be the main rivals in this segment. Dont see LG Optimus & HTC Desire C doing any gains in the near future.
 
i am sure flipkart prices are on the higher side and they would be cheaper at retail stores and other online stores. could not find it on junglee though yet.
 
Even xperia U sells a 16k on flipkart. So it will sell for a little lower price at retail stores. Basically 1.5k difference between two phones. 1.5k for dual core processor is not a bad deal. Also its android version can be updated to ICS.
 
Better to opt for Sony Xperia U which sells at 16k but has 1ghz dual core processor and Mali-400MP graphics processor. Only drawback is it has 2.3v android. :/

Rest of the specs are same as xperia miro

I guess it should get ICS as well. As Sony promised all mobiles in 2011 itself to get upgraded to ICS. And I think this was released early 2012?
