Such calls are fake... they are collection agent trying different techniques to make money...

duh!Every company use these type of third party services, they guarantee collections and now you know how.

Someone have given my number as secondary number, mostly before I have taken this connection. The name they ask is some unknown person. Till now I keep getting these calls from Delhi region. Previously I tried explaining them that I am using this same number for past 3.5 years but again I get this call after a week or so. Now I say there is no one with this name and ask which number they want.

Thanks for sharing this friends. Airtel has accepted that it is an unethical practice by one of their agencies (with whom they claim they have cancelled contract with). I posted an update here: Update on the Airtel Incident | Annkur
