Airtel DTH remote problem

Hi,My DTH remote is behaving strangely. Except for set up box switch on / off, I cannot do anything else.Anybody else having same problem?Called the CC and one guy said many customers are reporting the same problem.Anybody here experience the same?Regards,KC
 
Had similar problem with Videocon.. Would suggest completely switching off (no power supply to the box) ... Maybe rest for say 1/2 hr or so & then see?

I had similar problem day before yesterday... and resolved. Mine is HD-STB box.
Try to Update STB box software...

here are below steps.
1. Switch off the power of STB without switching it off by remote.
2. Wait for 30 seconds and switch ON the STB again.
3. When you see the message "Please wait initializing..." on TV screen; press 'exit' button twice followed by 2465 immediately.
4. The software update process starts. STB will download and install it.
