Installed it just yesterday, waiting for the G+ integration.

G+ integration is already there and I am using it. You just need to hit the red ribbon and search... it will take you to G+ or whatever you want. For me, it lists down almost everything I need... now I have removed plenty of official apps from my phone like twitter, facebook, G+ etc.

Yeah! Just added the G+ account but, it's sort of boring.I rather prefer to visit each application to check the updates, one reason is that Flipboard loads the websites in a crappy format.
