Now, define Active - For some subforums, I just give a fleeting glance or a random post. Or you mean a regular at a subforum.
 
Posting or even visiting any particular section regularly can be termed as Active in that section.
 
Why is it private ?
No particular reason to keep it private. I just like it to be private.

And anyways poll would give "numbers", and no reason to know which user is actually active in which section.
 

So "Broadband" leads, and its seems most active section of IBF (no wonder), and Mobile Handsets is another popular section here 🙂
