Can't be confirmed whether it is true or they are just reporting February hikes now (that too without FUP details).

But one strange things I am noticing is that from past 3 months on my 750-Combo-unlimited 512kbps plan I used to get speed bump upto 1 mbps for 1 or 2 days at max or sometimes till next reboot of my modem.

But this whole week I am getting 1 mbps consistently even though my usage for this month has already exceeded 40 GB.

May be some upgrade is on the way for which they are testing.

Speeds I am getting on my plan this week -

Little Off-Topic: Is the upload speed good on BSNL,i mean is it constant like 30-40 kbps? I am currently on tikona, a 3mb file upload takes 15-20mins on Dropbox etc 🙁

thanks, will check again to get BSNL connection. Hope the uploads dont get cancelled and all.

If this IS true, then I can't wait for Airtel to do the same! Last time in the summer of 2010, the same thing happened. 😀

i read about it in newspaper apparently now the lowest speed plan is 512kbps.At least BSNL is improving although at a slower pace.

I really hope it is true. My line was unstable this noon and now I'm getting 4Mbps on my ULD 850 plan instead of 512Kbps.
