Sify BBClient launches after 1 minute 22 seconds

Very annoying new thing is happening with the latest Sify Official client. After I launch it, it says "Launching" for around 1 minute 22 seconds and then finally launches. Therefore as compared to other applications it takes forever to launch. This is on a Windows 98 SE system.All screwed up Sify is, in all its aspects lol.

Nope, it's not a packet loss issue because ping with huge loads work fine and if i login using telnet it works fine too. It's just this badly designed official client which is having issues on Windows 98 SE for me I guess. I am trying out the alternative clients now.

Yeah, I get the same problem. Initially I thought it was because the new client uploads the log file to the server ... dunno if its true ...Anyway, why use the official client?
