[7] L Paes (IND) / R Stepanek (CZE) d [1] B Bryan (USA) / M Bryan (USA) 6-4 6-4 ;They've became a Best Team. I missed the Match, kudos to Leander Paes. But another Indian Duo Mahesh Bhupathi/Rohan Bopanna couldn't make it into Finals. So Finals will be Leander-Radek vs Miryni-Nester. Last Time between the two was on AO 2012, where Leander-Radek Won.

Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek against Bryan Brothers again. This time in the Quater-Final of the Monaco/Monte Carlo Rolex Masters. They lead 2-1 against the Bryans in 2012, of which the losing match was an 6-7,6-7 close encounter. All the Best to both the team. The Best Team Wins.

In Men's Doubles, Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna crash out of French Open. Rohan is even out of Mixed Doubles. So their Challenge to be in top 10 ranking, and thus the spot for representing India in Olympics is almost over. Leander Paes gonna be the player to play in Olympics, who partners him is still a BIG QUESTION.

Err? India? She had clearly said, she will continue to represent India.

Sania wants wildcard for singles entry/doubles entry?I hope she'll start playing singles again. If she wants entry for Women's Doubles, then it's gonna be hard for her to compete in Olympics. We don't have any other player of that caliber to standby in International Stage. She might play Mixed Doubles in Olympics, which is included in Olympics after many many years.

All possibility of Mahesh Bhupathi vs Leander Paes again in a Grand Slam Final (French Open Mixed Doubles Final). Last time, it happened for the first time on 2009 US Open Men's Doubles Final, which was won by Leander. This time, Leander Paes is on role of completing another Career Grand Slam. If this happens, we can see 3 Indians on same grandslam final for the first time. Sania Mirza is the third Indian.

It will be interesting to see the Men's double team for Olympics.Already lot of bickering going on between Paes & Bhupathi

Leander is definitely going to make into the Men's Team. Rohan Bopanna or Somdev Devvarman or Vishnuvardhan may partner him. Now that Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza have made into the French Open Final, they are have a good chance to represent in Mixed Doubles, but who wins it will matter - Leander Paes/Vesnina Elena or Mahesh Bhupathi/Sani Mirza.

The next XD semifinal is just in few time.

Men's doubles Gold is Long Overdue. in 1999, the Indian express were No 1, they missed in 2000. In 2004 they were cruising comfortably beating the likes of Roger Federer But in Semis they lost and couldn't win the bronze in that Epic Match.Paes/Bhupathi had Ample chances and should not be paired together. Somdev is not exactly a Doubles specialist. Bopanna will be the Most Likely partner.Bhupathi/mirza would be Automatically Qualified for Olympics as they are 7th Ranking which will improve after completion of french open.Paes despite qualifying for Mixed Doubles will have no Indian Female partner, so he will not be contesting Mixed Doubles.

What if Rohan Bopanna doesn't want to team with Leander Paes? Because, you know? In2007/so, Rohan, Mahesh, Rastogi had written a letter to take away Leander Paes as captain of Indian Davis Cup Team. Eventually SP Misra was made the non-playing captain. Mahesh Bhupathi was responsible for this. Somdev was Quarter Finalist in US Open Doubles 2011, so he does play Doubles well. He even won Gold in Asian Games Doubles.

Bhupathi/mirza would be Automatically Qualified for Olympics as they are 7th Ranking which will improve after completion of french open.

Paes despite qualifying for Mixed Doubles will have no Indian Female partner, so he will not be contesting Mixed Doubles.
7th Seeded in Clay Court. Olympics will be played on Grass, dont know about their seeding in it. But, if Leander Paes wins the French Open Mixed Doubles, then it would be hard to choose. But yes, Bhupathi/Mirza now have an upper hand.

Men's doubles will see a lot of Lobbying. Paes/Bhupathi will leave no stone Unturned in What could be Their Last OlympicsDue to that, We May see A deserving Player Being Left out

Leander had once said: "London olympics is my Best Chance, but not the last Chance". That shows he still has the wanting in him to win another olympics medal. He's been such a great Indian Sportsmen, a Bronze Medal in Single Olympic is a great achievement.

Here's an interesting article that sprays some information about Leander and AITA politics.
