Videocon To Shut Down Services in Most Circles !!

Look for slow price increase as all sundry players drop out one by one. To increase prepaid subscriber sign -in, we used to see Rs 10 sim cost =Rs 30-40 talktime.Nowadays prepaid sim is minimum rs 40-50 and the no of street vendors selling sim in a heap like onions have come down!No more volume sales . New mantra :Increase in unit price! When searching for "Local minutes" top up (career to others) for kid, I find already no top ups below rs 98 .(valid 30 days)Earlier say in Reliance GSM rs 44 used to give 100 local minutes ( not Reliance to Reliance but to all)If we keep any balance in the main balance ,some activation deducts it immediately.Same story in Uninor also. Uninor to Uninor is cheap but to others nowadays min rs 100 for 200 minutes valid 30 days.Slowly we could see voice+ data rates further go up.Already cartel has fixed GPRS 1 Gb @ rs 98. 3G - 5 Gb @ Rs 1000.If some body is giving more ,then their service/speed tends to be pathetic.
 
^^I don't think so. Company ki khud Watt lagi hai, Compensation kya denge 😀Better all related circle users must go for Port Out to other operators asap.
 
Update : Videocon is closing its Mobile Services in Mumbai and many other circles. Although they are participating in 1800 MHz spectrum which is going to be held on 12th November, but would remain limited to few and cheaper circles.
 

ok checked my Videocon sim and its not working.... Mumbai Sim... so cut it in 4 parts and out of window !!anyways never recharged in last 90 days+

used it 30 days earlier , since they had some nice STVs

If some body is giving more ,then their service/speed tends to be pathetic.

only airtel is into such activities , they have revised many of their booster top ups
data charge remains the same but they are shrinking the DATA

seriously looking for some alternative , but failing to get any
 
TATA DOCOMO Rs.20 750MB. 7 days validity ... TD Edge is as good as Airtel & Vodafone edge (2g) in most circles. Using as my backup connection, good for surfing n small downloads. 25-30KBps avg ... ^MF u frm cuddalore? hmm ...

Docomo 2G GPRS data pack price for TN -Not too bad. Just checked for AP ..they are charging Rs 33 for 500 mb for the same 7 day pack. Not worth.
Till a few months ago Vodafone (AP) used to give 1 GB for Rs 27- 7 days . Then it became 850 mb for the same price 3 months ago. Now only 375 mb for Rs 27 -7 days pack. Iam going eiether with Rs 98-1.5 gb/Rs115-2 GB/ Rs 155-3 GB /Rs 450 unlimited (all 30 days ) speed 25-40 kBs.
