how to measure actual speed? any official site? b/s no isp have their own internet speed checking site? Is there any law to take action against ISP for not providing actual speed? also not taking phones like bad service? disconnection once in a day for some min?i also cant use proxy with port 80 in my 24online client. so are there any rights in ISP for blocking ports and sites? which indian organisation check traffic,security and internet speed? or it is in US HAND.VSNL or TRAI or Individual ISP or nobody? :huh:

^ as you know actual speed depends on many factors ;and no site is accurate in testing speeds . the testingsites just give the results based on some downloading& uploading from their sites ; results cannot be taken asthe actual speeds available at our computer .AFAIK there is no Law to help the users ! we can approachthe consumer court ; publish our grievances in Newspapersand air the problems on TV channels ... ... ...TRAI has no powers on private ISPs .
