What is the Procedure for 3g plan for unlocked modem

I'm having a unlocked 3g modem from ebay, I would like to have a Idea 3g sim,what is the procedure to have Idea 3g sim.Is it possible to purchase 2g sim and do FRC 102 for netsetter plan and activate 3g.Kindly help.Thanks in adv

Yes, you can purchase a 2G sim and activate 3G on it.

You can do any frc you want. After the frc call customer care and ask them to activate 3G, after that activate a data pack 🙂

@ gap g jHow much data do you get for 102 FRC ?I'm from Andhra Pradesh, for us it's 110 FRC , 2GB data(3g) , val 30 days......idea guys said to me that i cannot do 110 FRC on ordinary prepaid sim......they said NETSETTER MODEM SIMS are separate & 110 FRC can be done only on them......i think we can get these sims only by purchasing their netsetter modems.
