The same plan has been launched in Himachal Pradesh by Idea @950 ....@The-Lord - atleast its 128 Kbps rather than airtel's 675 3g plan where after bill shield the speed provided is 20 Kbps for unlimited usage

Yes i agree.......And one thing i noticed is that post free usage idea has one of the cheapest tariff @5ps/10 KB & 2ps/10 KB

If Idea wanna keep people busy with Idea 3G @ 128 kbps, then God know with what speed Indian Population will grow 😛 I get 112 kbps in EDGE 😀

^ Its scientifically proved that the action which is responsible for population helps to relive from frustration and hypertension...so in another word they are helping you to overcome your hypertension/frustration by fupping at 128kbps, which you got by using there so called 3G.

But 128 kbps ? Come on. At least 256/384 kbps would be good for browsing and small file downloads. Don't know why all providers like to cap at 128 kbps ? Or come up with speed restricted 3g plan. Say 5gb for 250 rs. With speed 256kbps. Atleast you will get lower latencies on 3g network with decent browsing experience.

3G Plans are real funny...Senseless... they should encourage user to recharge more often by proving cheaper data like 100rs/1GB or 500rs/6GB..so it will end up in 7-10days in normal uses and user will go for another recharge once he is habituated of that kind of speed. Encourage user to spent on your product instead of discouraging by charging too much.

114 to 124 kbps (kilo bits per second).. Normally i get average 2.0 mbps speed in 3G
