Guys, If I have opted for Partial DND in a particular category, will I receive both calls and SMS from the providers? As per the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Portal Partially Blocked Category means stoppage of all commercial Calls/SMS except SMS from one of the opted preferences.
The problem is I have been getting a lot of calls from HDFC Bank Credit Card department, minimum 2 times a week and on one week back to back 5 consecutive days asking me to sign up for their credit card, I have denied them repeatedly but the calls keep coming. I find this very disturbing and infuriating when I am in the midst of my work, so I wrote an email to the corporate care telling them to lodge a complaint because I should not be getting these calls as I am already enrolled for Partially Blocked Category. Here is the response I got from them:
Dear Mr.Nath,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 22/01/2012 regarding DND services for your Vodafone connection **********.
With regard to your concern we wish to inform that currently partial DND service is active for below mentioned service.
1. Banking/Insurance/Financial products/Credit cards
2. Tourism and Leisure
3. Real Estate
4. Communication/ Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT
5. Consumer goods and auto mobiles
Further we wish to inform that if partial DND service is active you will receive both call and SMS from above mentioned service provider.
We request you to kindly deactivate the service which you does not want.
