what is- BSNL EVDO Data card

Dec 17, 2011
Hi dear friends,
(This is my first thread here.)
Recently i applied for a broadband connection of BSNL, but due to unavailability of landline in my area i didn't get it. So now i am thinking of getting a wireless internet from the same isp i.e. BSNL.
While looking around i came across a very good plan of Unlimited in Rs.750 by BSNL on a EVDO card (you can find more on this page: http://bsnl.co.in/service/internet_on_cdma.htm)

But i am bit confused that is EVDO and 3G data card is the same device ???? don't know more about this. Suppose i want to utilize this plan then i must have one data card connection. this is the point, what kind of device i should bring and from where like from BSNL office or from a store ?????
Help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

helping is more than a good manner..! thanks again

Better buy a zte or micromax device which supports EVDO , u can then buy the sim for 5 rs + plan charges.Sorry i dont know know abt the devices available as i have a bsnl one (dont buy bsnl device). Also 1st check from thr office that your area gets good EVDO signal or not.
