hi folks just want some information from youi have to pay canada embassy fee in canadian dollars.i want to pay it through credit card.can i pay it from my master card in canadian dollars?i have to fill a form to give the authorization to canada embassy and they will deduct it from my credit card.i think its possible but just want to confirm that we can pay in any currency from our international credit cards.there are many guys on this forum who are doing shopping online from the international sites want some confirmation from them.

I think it's very much possible. Most banks charge 3.5% extra as a markup for transactions in foreign currency. (and by the way it doesn't even have to be international credit card)

As @kookaburra said, you can use your card for doing any international transactions, and you will be charged in INR based on that day's conversion rates + a 3.5% markup (currency conversion) fee
