Introduction to FTA

Hi,I am a newbie here so i greatly appreciate if you can post any help here:1. how to get FTA channels2. Where to buy the dish?3. from where to buy the set-top box? is this going to be a crack version? if yes, where to find the support for it?4. can we get USA based channels if dish is set to USA angle?Many thanks is advance.Cheers,S

Depend on ur location. Dont know where u live.

Go to website LyngSat. Check availability of signal. Ku band channels are available with 60 cm (DTH) dish & for C Band channels you need atleast 90 cm & above of it depends on signal strength.

Decide which satellite channel do you want to acquire & Check its C band / ku band. Receiver also ku band / c band / c + ku band & feature HD / Non HD/ 3D etc. Mostly people buy it from electrical shops but where I live there is not at all. If u are not experienced to install dish. do it by professionals (on hire basis) u can discuss with them & decide what u need just u know which satellite u want to go for. U can acquire multi satellites but give list to those professionals if u find any & discuss with them.

Other accessories = Diseqc = 1.2 / 1.4 (Prefer 1.2) U can use this to connect 4 / more dishes to single receiver. Few regular sizes r 4 x 1, 8 x 1. Multiswitch = You can use this for connect many / single dishesh to multi receivers. Depend on your choicee.
