Speed limit restriction by Airtel in file sharing sites

Download speed from file sharing sites through my 2MBPS airtel connection is only 30kbps. Where as airtel speed check shows it as 150-160 kbps. Also if I download something from microsoft site the speed is 160-170 kbps. Any idea if Airtel is putting some restriction in the file sharing sites like fileserve, rapdshare, mediafire etc

lol! it may be the case. i mean airtel already throttle torrents. Now it may have started throttling file sharing websites. Whats next?! throttle Facebook usage!?!?

They have been throttling flie sharing websites for long!!! there have been quite a lot discussions about it

May be for other regions, But I have started experiencing it from last month only.

me too experienced the same, when i switched to tikona then i was getting good speeds, its a airtel policy :Kill:
