i trade nifty future .......for which margin for intraday trading is only 10-11 k ...........i yesterday shorted nifty at 5230 ........and covered my shorts at 5180 something........thats 50 points.
1 lot of nifty =50 unit
profit earned =50 points per lot
profit in 1 lot =2500 rs
money invested on 1 lot is 11000.
profit earned is more or less 25%.
i trade 4 lots so total money invested 44000.....and total profit is 10000 something less brokerage and charges etc.
