HTC Rezound render resoundingly revealed -- Engadget

You can see that, like the Sensation XE, the phone has red-glowing soft keys -- a bit of a departure from HTC's traditionally conservative design language. If you recall, the phone formerly called Vigor is said to have a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, Beats Audio and an 8MP rear camera.

Living up to the machissimo of its in-development moniker, the Rezound boasts a 720p display and packs a dual-core 1.5GHz processor underneath, with 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage / 16GB on microSD card, WiFi and Bluetooth in tow. And for you Android fanatics, HTC's shipping the handset Ice Cream Sandwich-ready. As for the phone's 8 megapixel camera with f/2.2 sensor, the suite of scene modes we've seen ship on the Amaze 4G is making an appearance here.

^^ Have you used it? I quite like their Sense interface. I also like Sony's Timescape. Samsung's TouchWiz and Motorola's Motoblur are of course shitty.

sony could potentially turn out to be the dark horse (!) in the android race. they are cleaning the mess they had created. acquiring ericsson's stake. switching to a smartphone only mode.sticking to android as their only mobile platform. releasing android updates faster for their current models. they just need to launch new products at a faster pace with matching specifications to keep up with the competition.
