Vodafone acquiring RIM? Makes no sense.

Yes, but lots of news regarding that on google.

The case is going on in SC.Vodafone paid 3900 crore out of 11000 crore demanded by IT dept. but payment was done under protest.Which means that they will file a case, if case is won all the money needs to be given back.Incase they lose the case, they dont have to pay any interest and/or penalty.

wont happen

what wont happen?u mean VF acquiring RIM or VF winning case?

looks like his fingers are paining today to write detailed comments😛Well that looks like a brilliant strategy by VF in Income Tax case. and regarding RIM purchasing clouds will be cleared soon.

Why won't happen? It is good move for Vodafone to enter the market of mobile hardware + OS. They can own the company, but still run it as separate entity.Google has Motorola, Microsoft has Nokia, so now none of these would be interested for RIM.And nothing is impossible if you have lots of cash 😀

Buying webOS from HP would be a much cheaper deal. Blackberry has deals globally with rivals of Vodafone. This just makes things complicated for them. If they make Blackberry devices exclusive to their own network, EU would beat the F out of them. Same in other markets.I do not see any mobile network involved in manufacturing of mobile devices. It is simply a bad decision for them as they end up competing with potential partners.

ya connection is bit dodgy wanna finish the comment fast before it goes on to reconnect 😛

Both unlikely to happen Vodafone winning the case or buying RIM ...

Same was happening with me yesterday on MTNL 3G. Then used the alternate connection of Reliance Broadband +. 😛

That doesnt make sense! You cud type complete msg, press enter whenever connection is alive!

In windows 7, disconnection and reconnection happens silently. So if you have typed something and pressed " post reply " while internet is disconnected, you have to refresh and type the commets again 🙁

Copy before you press post.Or use Firefox. When internet comes back again, press F5 and FF will ask "do you want to repost the content", say yes!
