yes mobile signal boosters are a boon if you are operating from basement. But the prices are high.say a single band booster comes at around 20k.Now businessmen have to decide weather their call drops cost them in lakhs, then only they will opt for this, else you have a land line type booster too for 5k but its available only for single user.

In electronic city, banglore, you might find it,but you need a specialist to fit it.booster is all about positions of antennas.an experienced guy can save you thousands with his perfect positions of booster antennas for maximum effeciency

I have not seen a local company producing booster. If you are the only user in your home, then i can give u a cheap solution for it.

Buy 6db omni power antenna from market and an antenna adapter for your mobile.

Fix the omni antenna at a place where you get signal and connect the antenna to your mobile antenna adapter using rg-8 coaxial cable.job done....
I would like to know about this antenna and rg-8 coaxial cable. I live in Delhi. Actually I'm getting signal of mtnl 3g on the roof of first floor (either 3 or 4 bars out of 5, mostly 4).. But no 3g signal either on ground floor or on first floor.. So I would like to know the cheap solution for this problem.. All suggestions are heartily welcomed..

we generally have no rules.
Those days 🤪

But in case the errant party, who could be a person or an entity, fails to surrender such an unauthorized booster and continues to use the equipment, action such as imposition of a fine, under lndian Telegraph Act, 1885, lndian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933 and lndian Wireless Telegraphy (Possession) rules, 1965, may be initiated, the DoT said
We still use British Era laws 😳

Ye gormint, in telcos ko yon nhi penalised krti jinke signal he nhi aate. Majboori h booster use krna. Not a single signal bar inside home from any of operators. Complained to each and everyone but they don't give a sh*t.

It's possible that this is being enforced now since Jio is working on a prototype 5G nanocell that can hook up to your broadband and use that as backhaul while giving you 5G indoors
