Star World HD broadcasting SD versions of the programs...

Of late, I see a disturbing trend. Back in the initial days, all shows on Star World HD used to be HD. But these days I see a lot of SD content. "Dexter" used to be aired in HD. Now it is SD. So are a couple of other shows. Why should we pay extra to watch the SD content on this HD channel?Another interesting observation. An HD program that I recorded - converted itself to SD after a few days! I know it sounds crazy. (Other HD recordings are playing in HD.) Not sure if this is a problem with my STB. Any comments?
 
They give a notification when they are playing SD content. They do that for Masterchef atleast. Maybe some problem with the availability of those episodes in HD.
 
The new series of Dexter - is back in HD 🙂 And terra nova is absolutely gorgeous on HD. Thanks Star World and Tata Sky. 🙂
