Just a thread to collect data on the alerts from the various bodies. Keep updating with the name of the bank and the type of alert (cash withdrawl/credit card payment etc). Of course, it only applies if you have enabled DND for the banking code as well.
 
ICICI cash withdrawal SMS coming through.have full DND active
 
few days back SMSes were coming but were nt instant...but since ystdy they seem to be coming properly with active DND 🙂
 

Got my Salary credit confirmation SMS from Citibank. Full DND activate.
 
I am getting updates about transactions from the bank. Even quicker than earlier! 😀
 
looks like the sms gateways around the country are less congested these days 😀
 
Really Man. This time Salary Credit alert was much faster than before.
 
Had issues on the day this was introduced, but has been better ever since. However, the delays have definitely increased as opposed to earlier, and I don't even DND enabled. Earlier I would get alerts for POS transactions within 30 seconds, now I get it after 1 - 2 hours. Pointless
 
For me, the ICICI transaction messages are virtually instant now ( less than 10 sec ), earlier they took 2-3 hours
