Android Ice Cream Sandwich coming to all 2011 Xperia phones

Its really a great move by SE this year, they are updating at brisk pace.
 
samsung would actually be launching the first android 4 model. and they are likely to have the maximum number of android 4 models in a couple of weeks time. they launch enough models in one month that Sony launches in a year 😀
 
Sony has just recently started offering faster updates. samsung and htc have a pretty decent history of offering updates. a lot of owners of sony android devices were stuck on android 1.6 for years. situation is not that bad for samsung and htc device owners. just think about being on 1.6 when most other people have moved on to 2.2 or even 2.3? i have only used android 2.0 and beyond. android was probably horrible before 2.0 edition!
 

keep an eye on the xda forums to see if someone is going to provide a custom ROM for it. expecting an update from reliance? i would not bet my money on it.
