yes thanks for the image. very helpful. so basically my attenuation rates is way much higher. so the according the chart its btween average and poor.it has been always lyk dis 30db (down). even when the line is clear.so in this case what has to be done....???even if i call the line man he will just clear the line. still i would get same attenuation 30db. so wt to do now?shouuld i cut down the ample lenght of wire i have rolled up?or should i ask the line man to give a new high quality copper cable.??
@PiyushHoow old is the wiring at your place ? Both BSNL's external as well as your internal wiring. You might also want to check the attenuation values of those in your neighbourhood. Also, I do not think that cutting down the length of the wire will have a significant impact.
Besides, you cant do much with high attenuation if you live far away from the exchange. My SNR is around 35, Attn is around 27 (normal for 2 km line), still I get an attainable downrate of about 17.5 Mbit/sec.

Check your speed here ( twice ). Your tariff plan ? My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
actual speed mattters, rather than attainable rate and Rate shown in modem.
May be your mod mode is now ADSl2 +
@Piyush Chandra
Changing to GDMT gives a stable connection, with reduced sync rate etc.
with some improvement in SNR.
I also faced disconnection like you Piyush, and changing to G.DMT helped a lot, and provided quite a bit of stability. It is highly recommended that you switch over to G.DMT from ADLS2+ asap.
