LCD ...crushed!!!

My friend has an Acer e-machine..,He accidently broke the lcd panel of the laptop..First,most of the screen turned black and cracks were visible ..now its all gone..It was a gift to my friend so he don't have any warranty or anything so...How can it be repaired ???...How much will it cost??Please tell me the cheapest solution possible

Check with a trusted laptop repair shop.. unlikely that the repair will cost less than 8k, probably in the 10-15k range
