Question about 2G charges while on a 3G plan

I'm on the 100MB 3G plan (prepaid). I spend about an hour a day in a lab where there is no 3G signal (the phone switches to EDGE). Will I be charged 10p/10kb separately for this 2G usage, or will the data usage be deducted from my 3G plan?
 
the data will be deducted from ur 3g plan.
 
but if you are on 2G plan and you had activated 3G, your 3G is deactivated as soon as you buy 2G plan. So you will again have to spend Rs. 100 to activate 3G plan in VF
