not in india. most credit card companies have no insurance offerings for their subscribers. at least for the regular types.

It's included as part of your card fee. Full coverage comes by default with all AMEX, and limited liability is there for Mastercard and Visa holders.

Also not everybody have Credit Card in India... while cheque is something everyone uses...

Aware of that, but there's no reason we can't prod people to take a step in the right direction.
 
haha. amex... only employees in big companies would have amex cards. they won't give me a card because i am not attached to one and do not own a big business 😀

Nowadays every Bank is fussy about issuing new credit cards anyway... I think Debit cards would be a success though since most have opted for them..

Debit cards should work if they're International debit cards (there are cards that only work in India or on Indian processors, so, check with your bank).

Lolz. I'll check once you launch in my city & I'll have to make a payment... On a serious note most debit cards especially from private banks are International. I think only SBI & other nationalized banks has this as optional...
