Launch of New Broadband Plan - Freedom 995 w.e.f 01.01.2012


Freedom 795- Fair usage unlimited data rupees 795/- postpaid plans download speed 2mbps till 10gb 512 kbps beyond that
Freedom 1295- rupees 1295/- 2mbps till 35 GB and 512 beyond that
Freedom 800- Rupees 800/- Night usage postpaid plan 512 kbps from morning 8am-11pm night and 2mbps from 11pm- 8am

Still not as good as MTNL Mumbai's Happy Hour unlimited plans mentioned here

These Delhi plans are clearly not for download freaks.

Rs 800 night UL plan is good for those like to download from torrents because MTNL doesn't throttle torrent speeds.

FREEDOM OFFER coming without freedom of FUP 😛

That means they are not going to Double the speed of the old unlimited plans at least for another year.Among the three I would prefer the night 2mbps plan ! Reason - No FUP. and most of the downloading I do happens to be at night (obvious). Looks a decent deal for Rs. 800.

For the 512 kbps day and 2 mbps night.. unlimited no FUP.. 😀 I can wait for night.. but I couldn't go for limited plans 🙂

night plan is gud but it could be more better if they limit 2mbps speed between 8pm to 8a.m.
