Mail from me to Airtel:


Please confirm that NO Dues are pending towards my recently cancelled Airtel
broadband connection No. XXXXXXXXXXXX

Their reply:

Thank you for writing to airtel and the opportunity to assist you.

We would like to inform you that an outstanding amount of 0/- is due for your airtel number.

You can make the payment at the nearest airtel office. We would also like to tell you about the option of making payments through any of the following convenient and secure modes

¿ You may make the payment by using MCHEK on your airtel mobile. Please call 543219 (toll free) to activate MCHEK on your airtel mobile (only applicable in case for airtel mobile number)

¿ Subscribe to ECS/SI facility for uninterrupted services.

¿ Logon to www.airtel.in/ my account and click on "Make Payment" option.

We hope that we have been able to assist you suitably. Please do write in for any further assistance.

Its a General Template in which Outstanding amount is entered and it may be automated e-mail. :p

They replied after about 12 hours, and the mail ended with


warm regards,

NAME
customer care executive
bharti airtel limited.

So, I guess its just a copy pasted template.

Fortunately there is no late fee for amounts less than 100 or 150
