Running A Web Server

I am using Airtel's 220bx router. I run my webserver at some port say 8080. I wish to make this server accessible using my IP address to friends by giving http://a.b.c.d:8080
If this possible with my 220bx modem? Please give me the details on how to acheive this?

The problem is that i cant access my server at port 8080.

if you are using no-ip and lan-card then it won't work... USB one works fine... but not good...
