TIKONA Ruckus Wireless MM2211 WIFI router with Huawei SmartAX MT880 Modem for BSNL

HiI am using BSNL Broadband via Huawei SmartAX MT880 modem. I also have a TIKONA connection and now I want to use my TIKONA connection's WIFI router with my BSNL connection. Can someone please guide me whether this is possible or do I have to purchase a new WIFI modem for my BSNL connection and if possible how to do this? Please explain it in a detailed manner as I am a newbie on these modem settings, etc. I am using a system with Windox XP SP3 and want to connect my Laptop and mobile with WIFI.Pankaj

1.Buy a stand alone wifi router (Netgear wgr614 v9 or D-Link or Linksys etc )if the radius of activity ( say more than 30 to40 feet around the house and heightdifference 1st floor 3rd floor etc ) buy a higher priced model with multiple antennae.2. Check availability of wifi router with BSNL on rent ( Rs 80/= P.M ) for trial and tests. outright purchase Rs 1800/= ( see conditions in 1 above )3.Tikona unit cannot be used for BSNL ADSL broadband.

Thanks a lot. This will save me a lot of time of trying to somehow make it work with BSNL.

One thing more, do u suggest using Netgear Wifi router or should I purchase the 1 supplied by BSNL???

ADSL modem (type I ) Huawei MT AX880 available.
or Three in one Adslmodem+4lanport+wifi ( type II)
BSNL wifi router if available taken on rent can be exchanged any time !
Outright purchase not recommended.
Range of wi fi cannot be predicted, but as per specs same as low priced
commercial models. If detachable antenna , another external antenna can be connected.
Commercial models . Please search in ebay.in for 3 -in.1 models.

I am using Beetel 110TCI+ NetgearWgr614 v6 (cost appr Rs 1500/= ( cost and range in same plane
groundfloorlevel/limited to about 20 to 25 feet.

TP-Link wifi routers can be considered. .

or if you want to link two wifi routers without cable connection look for option
WDS or WDM mode. Same model (two) to be purchased
