And indiatimes provides hosting services, crm services, email facilities etc. for enterprises....
 
well i imagine the malware was being distributed through some ad company which was being used by the IT site...

I have seen some really not-so-popular ad-networks powering ads on indian media sites.

and they do sell links... on a massive scale. and these links are related to guess what... medicines and drugs.

They are premium adsense publisher ........ whats the need for them to go other ad networks?
 
google has a lot of limitation when it come to variety of ads.and i believe their payout is not as impressive as other companies. doubleclick was one such example. google is acquiring them now.
 

Seriously that site has more nudity than news.Why isnt the I&B ministry doing something.Even my kaspersky blocks it saying it has porn.If TOI loves skin then it should drop news and be a tabloid
 
Have you read TOI newspaper? If your grandpa gets to see the entertainment section, he will either kill you or do something worse.. 🙂
 
:ac: I have never found such things. Is there something objectionable in today's Edition bcoz I missed out Today's Edition. Just Read Mumbai Mirror and left for Office.
 
entertainment sells , or rather sex sells , news does not , welcome to 2000 😕 the newspaper industry all over the world is suffering from this, it's not only TOI, many papers only depend on p3 news, prime example the recent mess from fox's 'news of the world' it was the largest selling tabloid in u.k and it was only yellow journalism.
 
what will ib ministry do if high court has said in a verdict that 'adults need there share of entertainment and that cannot be stopped because children also read news papers, adults need to supervise that children dont read that stuff ' , now i dont really remember the exact language but it was something similar. and it was years back wen someone filed a PIL.:msn:

In that case, why there is a ban on Adult TV channels?

and if u don't know there is mtv grind which has started again on MTV , at 7 pm Saturday with explicit moves and bikinis and what not. and that is not banned till yet, i don't think that should be banned either............

then all celebrity magazines will be banned tooo................????
