I haven't even got any mail yet. It doesn't really matter to me as long as they don't change the core terms on my card - the reward points and the cash back. Theirs is the best card I have used in a long time.

Manhattan Platinum. LOVE it 😀 Now what more does the Titanium provide? I just might be interested 😛

Manhattan? i think it only give cashback on shopping at branded stores right? my mom has it. from what i remember it gives a 5% cashback on shopping? titanium is nice. cashback on fuel and telephone bills. i get around 2.5 cashback on petrol/diesel purchases (yey!) and around 5% cashback on telephone/mobile/broadband bills. there is also i believe 1% cashback on payments to other places over Rs. 1000. so basically if i buy a laptop worth 50,000, i can effectively get a 500 rupee rebate on it. i do not really confirm all cashbacks but it sort of works out well for me in the end. the limit on cashback is i think 500 rupees per month.

Hmm. I would say Manhattan is better. Details at high level:5% cash back on ALL transactions in supermarkets / departmental stores. From my experience I have realised they cover even the gali nukkad department stores which have credit cards, not just the big branded ones. Cash back limited to 500 per month.5 reward points per 100 for ALL other transactions. Each point is equal to 50 paise. So effectively, that means a 2.5% cash back on all other transactions. Petrol of course comes under "other". I use this for all my transactions, just about anywhere I use my card - which again is everywhere. Be it insurance policies, or any other payment. I have saved - or should I say earned - a good deal with this for my kinda usage. Full paisa vasool. Downside - 1000 bucks per year. However, I recover more than that from the card 😉

hehe. since i mostly rely on my card for telephone and petrol bills, it works better for me. i tend to not make personal purchases through the credit card. being a freelancer, using cash is beneficial for personal purchases. 🙂

^ Yea I can understand. A few of my friends too are very particular about not using the card. I do it for them, in the process earning some free points 😀
