Connection AN1020-21 wifi modem to iPhone 3g

Hi.I am using an AN1020-21 Type 2 wifi modem and I am unable to connect my iPhone 3g to it. I understand that some changes have to be done connecting to the server 192.198.1.1. Can somebody explain or lay out the process for connecting the same.Thank you

(a) If you are on Dialer Mode change to PPPoE "Always On" mode.
In WAN page uncheck box "Bridging" and select PPPOE next next
( Your Userid/pw entered/stored in the WAN page)
(b) Enable DHCP ( In LAN page)
(c) Enable UpNp
