I am not sure if I understand his business strategy. He had crores of customers. He dumped around 90% of them by shutting down CDMA network. Acquired Aircel. Partnered with Jio. To serve whom? 10% of the remaining customers? What kind of business model is this?

Aircel was the only real ISP who had decent 3G speeds and plans. At least it made sense than other big "incumbent" operators. Their service was reliable and consistent. Now after the merger with a third grade operator like RCOM what might they be planning? Increase their reach to more customers? reduce debt? Doesnt make sense either way.

It seems Anil Ambani has thousands or Crores of loans from various bank (as we read in Politics section yesterday). This selling may be attempt to get rid of such loans, or he will also end up becoming Mallya 😀

I think its not his own loans - its Reliance ADA group that has taken loan.
