Question regarding stopping recharge/disconnection

GuysSuppose if I do not recharge my account for a long time, will it go into negative balance or will it get suspended?I dont want to get into trouble one fine day and pay a whoppingly huge amount.Thank you.

If u dont recharge, but ur account still has balance then money will get deducted on daily basis.If ur account doesnt have balance then it will enter into grace period, which I think is 3 days, once grace period is over, ur DTH wont work.So overall negative balance might go for 3 days on viewing.Note, this is my understanding, pls verify with CC
 
Hope this helps someone else looking for InfoCalled CC and they first asked me to take Safe Custody i.e. a 90 day complete stop period which can be taken once every 6 months. Then later when asked, they said for 3 days after my validity expires I will be charged into negative balance after which I will be suspended and later totally disconnected the rep said.

One question about this again guys..If I dont use/recharge Airtel DTH, cant I just keep the Dish & STB for the future?I keep getting calls to surrender and forgo my Dish and STB if I am not recharging.. Can I refuse? Thanks
 
Well because its not clear what actually happens.Not many have reported their experience.
 
I think you can keep the Dish, We do pay for the Dish + STB in airtel (unlike Dish TV).. so its all yours...
 
Well their terms and condition says, equipments are property of airtel..blah blah... (see your CRF terms and conditions first section)
 
i did not recharge for 2-3 days after my balance went 0 due to some problem at their payment gateway and now my connection is suspended and in online portal it say daily burn rate = 0. when i switch ON my tv it says account is suspended. Its suspended even after recharge, i guess it takes system some time before it reconnect account, i have sent sms, waiting for reactivation. So yes, once suspended it will not deduct any more money. Do any one know for how long we can keep account under suspended status?
