Share Connection?

I wish to take the Home-500 plan of BSNL along with the type-IV modem. Will it be possible to share the internet connection among 2 computers at my home?Or is this sharing possible only in the business plans?Thanx in advance. 🙄

yes , it is possible . however BSNL doesnt support this .note that home plans are for single computer . it is not legal to connect more computers to dataone home plans but some are using for 2 or more computers .

Its posssible and its very easy if you use atype four modem

connect the modem to ethernet of 1st computer assign ip address 192.168.1.1 as the modem ip and the given gateway


then assign the ip 192.168.1.100 to the 1st computer
then connect the 2nd and thrid computer ip as 192.168.1.101

lthis way you can connect up to 4
