Bought Huawei Umg1831 today! - But problems - Pls help

Hi guys i am the newest member of this great forum and after viewing positive reviews about Huawei umg1831 i order it and received today, its great!Today after receiving it i wanted to check if everything was fine and i inserted my Airtel sim (GPRS ACTVATED - MOBILE OFFICE NO 3G) in this modem, but its giving this message ""YOU CAN'T CONNECT BEFORE REGISTER AN AVAILABLE NETWORK"" which i am unable to figure out, i am very eager to get it to workI stay in Mumbai and the above test was done just to check the modem as i am gonna buy reliance 3g sim today eveningHelp Please!!!!!!!

From what OP posted I think he was using Manual Network Selection and needed to register the Network on mobile partner before attempting to connect.

However it would be best if he posts the cost and source of this purchase.
