BSNL 3G: HUAWEI 1831 not detecting 3g signals......

hi plz help me out my 1831 modem do not catch 3g signals of bsnl it is showing edge only in PEC chandigarh....my firmware is 11.831.... something like dat...plz help me out..what can i do...which mobile partner version shud i use...am currently using micromax 310...plz help me...ya my micromax is picking up 3g signals very well....
 
Try this....In Mobile Partner, -> Goto Options.-> Network-> In the network type select WCDMA only and apply.Hope this will solve your problem.
 
this is wat happens nowadays. people open a new thread based on a personal experience and make it look like they want to let others know abt that as a generic issue. ' Huawei 1831 not detecting 3g signals......' looks like umg1831 generally does not detect signal. pls be specific while you report an issue so that others are not freaked out.:notallowed:
 
Agree with sathish on the same, and also search the existing threads as the solution may already be present there.
