Please tell me anybody else hv same speed problem... i m getting good signal strength... bt not getting good speed...
 
I used BSNL Dataone @2mbps before wimax... My avg downloading speed was 200-240 KB/sec... I thought Wimax will give same speed with unlimited usage... bt after 3 days of usage i m not happy with its service...

I am staying 1.5 km away from base station and I am using Indoor CPE. Direct downloads and some torrent downloads give good results of 2 mbps, but file sharing sites (free accounts) does not respond well.

i am getting 600-700 kbps transfer rate in idm in bsnl wimax connection....
 
hi,mr.sanjiv.thanx for your post.i have taken my wimax connection on 16 april.it is working very good.as you mentioned my downloading speed also varies between 600-700 KB/s in idm.and with good torrent it is around 500KB/s.
