they are not using there Blackberry os for tablet they got something enw for the tablet and with that they integrating the android apps in it .... so if they do so they will get the 200000+ apps at one go ... which is big advantage ...

At Blackberry website, they mention it as Blackberry Tablet OS, so I feel it will just be an offshoot & not something written from scratch. Always there is a possibility if it works they may try to bring the same in their future Smartphone OS to enable Android-apps support.
