Asked For Home Ul 900 Plus Plan, But Got Startup Plan?

My parents got BSNL broadband and applied for Home UL 900 Plus Plan. They never had BSNL BB before, just the telelphone. However, I just discovered that the account administration website (http://dataone.in) lists their account as "Startup Plan, speed 256 Kbps".

Why this discrepency? How can this be explained?

^ it has already got the required response .pls donot put the same query at different threads .personally contact the concerned official at your Local BSNL Exchange to make it corrected .

I see. I was actually enquiring if somebody else was in a similar situation.

I have already tried to call them up on the numbers given by the people who came to install the modem and stuff but the calls have gone unanswered till now. I am still trying.

Okay, after a call to a manager in the local exchange, we were assured that our connection is indeed Home UL 900 Plus. And that we need not worry about what the dataone.in web page says in the 'service record' page. Go figure!

At least the assurance helps not to worry about it anymore.
