IRC server, port no 6667, is it blocked ??

Hey there,im on beam's 2mb's UL ...and i noticed that IRC server which uses port 6667 not working ... i did an open port's test and it showed port no 6667 is blocked can anyone confirm on that ?...thanks
 
No it is not blocked. Everyday I use ChatZilla to connect on freenode using beamtele internet connection
