Hi,
I have been trying to setup a web-server on my home desktop. Looking into the web-search I did find out lots of links that talked about setting up the "Port Forwarding" set-up in the modem. (link: Default Port Forwarding on the Beetel 440TXI).
However, even after doing the setup as advised in the links, I find that when ever I use my external IP address, I get to the Router's administration page but I am unable to get to the web-server application that I am running ar post number 8080 (that I had Port Forwareded in the modem).
Any one has any idea, if there is any thing more that can be done to work around the problem to pass through the modem page and get to the we-server app running on my desktop ?
Any ideas, links, help is much appreciated !
