Heh, the real answer on this topic is a big fat "IT DEPENDS".For one thing infrastucture in the west is a hell of a lot better so connections tend to stay up FAR more reliably then over here. With my last isps 90% of the calls were regarding conectivity issues. I got better service as i was able to test things better than the fools they had working for them. With Airtel, i would say uptimes are fairly close to what i had with roadrunner in NYC. I have called Airtel a total of maybe 5 times for the entire year !!!So if things work out then you waste less time on wait. For other things i would say the probs are similar since most of them contract out to co.s here and it makes no diff, still shit. Cept that the co.s save a few bucks more in the bargain 🙂Think about it, smart ppl are not going to opt for stresfull call center jobs anywhere in the world, when they can make more elsewhere for easier, leaving you with the less smart that would not be able to find better. If you are lucky enough to have someone competent on the line, consider yourself lucky.
